NBLC 2022 All-Canada Team Greatest Hits

The NBL Canada continues to find and nurture native talent, giving them the opportunity and platform to use their skills to their full potential. On that note, five of the best Canadian players have been selected by the league for the 2022 All-Canadian Team, listed below along with their finest moment from throughout the season.

Elijah Ifejeh

Windsor Express, 5.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg

A late edition to the Express lineup, Ifejeh made a name for himself in 2022 regularly putting up big numbers in limited time. He played just nineteen minutes against the Sudbury Five on April 24th but did he ever make his scant time on court count, scoring seventeen points on 70% shooting in one of the season's better performances from a rotation player.

Jason Calliste

Sudbury Five, 14.8ppg, 4.5rpg

Jason Calliste began his fourth NBLC season with back-to-back 20 point games and, when the season was still young, had one of the best individual showings of Sudbury's season. On March 20th he put up a season-high thirty points, including twelve in the last quarter, giving Sudbury the push they needed to see out victory over tough opposition from the Windsor Express.

Jermaine Haley

London Lightning, 13.4ppg, 4.6rpg

In his debut NBLC season Haley very quickly became a key contributor for the Lightning, earning a starting spot through consistency and big numbers on both ends of the court. His biggest production the entire season was on April 14th, where he did all he could to get London to turn it around against the Sudbury Five, finishing proceedings with a game and season-high 37 points.

Marcus Anderson

Windsor Express, 7.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 4.6apg

Anderson scored in double digits seven times in his first ten games of the season, opening 2022 with four consecutive double-digit performances, including one where he handed out sixteen assists. He followed this on March 13th two season bests: nineteen points and ten rebounds, an otherwise exemplary performance in a loss to the London Lightning. It was enough, however, to help secure him the Canadian Player of the Week award.

Terry Thomas

London Lightning, 17.9ppg, 7.3rpg

The man who won almost every award going this year, who was easily among the best native players, flew the flag for Canada against the Lansing Pharaohs early on in the season. The Sixth Man of the year played just 21 minutes but in that time had the highest individual score for the Lightning, totaling nineteen in the contest that helped propel his team to victory in the face of stubborn American opposition.
