Express, Edge and Five Welcome On Board Familiar NBL Canada Faces
With just over a month to go before the start of the new NBL Canada season, team rosters are already being changed and modified to give themselves the best chance of success. In the case of three teams who have made recent transactions, that includes bringing in veteran league talent.
Windsor Express trade Tyrrel Tate to St. John's Edge for rights to Shaquille Keith, sign Sam Muldrow
A three-year veteran of the NBL Canada, last season Tyrrell Tate averaged 14.6 points and 3.4 rebounds in 32 appearances for the Windsor Express. He has now been dealt to the St. John's Edge for the rights to Shaquille Keith ahead of the 2019-20 season. Keith was a late addition to the Edge roster last season, appearing in 16 games and averaging 10.3 points and 4.4 rebounds. He has previously played for the Windsor Express on three separate occasions.
In addition, the Express welcome forward Sam Muldrow back to the league, having played three seasons previously. Muldrow last played in the 2017-18 NBLC season for the Niagara River Lions, where he averaged 12.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
Sudbury Five sign Josiah Moore and Malcolm Duvivier
The Sudbury Five will be the fourth NBL Canada team for Josiah Moore, who last season played 18 games for the London Lightning. At the same time, Duvivier joins Sudbury after his debut professional season with the Halifax Hurricanes, where he appeared in 48 games and was named to the 2019 All-Rookie team.
