All-NBL Canada Second Team 2018-19
Following on from the third team, here are the five named to the 2018-19 All-NBL Canada Second Team:
Rhamel Brown (Halifax Hurricanes)
Leading Halifax's defence earned Brown the Defensive Player of the Year title, while at the same time he led all of the NBLC in field shooting, where he hit the mark 56.5% of the time.
Junior Cadougan (St. John's Edge)
Averaging 12.8 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Edge, Cadougan won Canadian Player of the Week on three occasions and was named Most Improved at the season’s end.
Sampson Carter (Island Storm)
The Storm’s top scorer and third-overall in the NBLC, while also pulling down 7.7 rebounds per game, Carter lived up to his promise in his first season in Canada - hopefully not his last.
Juan Pattillo (Windsor Express)
The leading light for the Express this season, while also leading the league in rebounding and finished in the league’s top five for scoring with 20.4 points per game.
Billy White (Moncton Magic)
One of the league’s top scorers from the field, White was second only to Trey Kell in scoring for the Magic this year with 17.3 points per game, in addition to his 6.7 total rebounds on the season.
Leave a comment if you think anyone here should be higher or lower, or if there is a player you think is missing from this year's All-NBLC team.
