With 19.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists on the season, Boucard cemented his star status in the NBL Canada. His numbers earned him his first piece of league silverware – the Canadian Player of the Year award.
Junior Cadougan (St. John's Edge)
The York native played above expectations in 2018-19 with St. John’s, registering 12.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, earning him the Most Improved Player honours.
Alex Campbell (Island Storm)
Campbell made himself heard in this statement season. The man from Brampton, Ontario was among the league’s best rebounders and his 13.3 points per game put him in the top five on the Storm. He was also named to the Defensive team.
Jamal Reynolds (Cape Breton Highlanders)
Ontarian Reynolds was outstanding this season, averaging 17.6 points per game and finishing as the season’s top rebounder, while making only six starts out of 45 games played. His efforts made him the only choice for this year’s Sixth Man award.
Garrett Williamson (London Lightning)
