Know Your Team: Tyrrel Tate and Luke Cochran

Tate played four years in the NCAA Division 2 with the Fayetteville State Broncos. The starting small forward in both sophomore and junior seasons, he was named to the All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association both times and averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds throughout his time with the team.
In 2014, he was selected in the seventh round of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft by the Idaho Stampede, for whom he started in five games and averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in the season. He then played two seasons for the Moncton Miracles, averaging 9.1 points and 3.3 rebounds and making the playoffs both years.
The next season he played in the G League for both the Canton Charge and the Texas Legends. For the 2018-19 season he returned to the NBL Canada, first signing with the Sudbury Five, but later joining the Windsor Express, becoming a key team member. After 30 games, 24 of which he was the starter, he averaged 14.8 points for the Express.
Luke Cochran

Starting out with Del Oro High, alongside 2017 FIBA Europe Cup champion Spencer Butterfield, he went on to play for the Santa Rosa Bear Cubs and later transferring to the Sonoma State Seawolves in the NCAA Division 2. Playing two seasons with the Seawolves, he shot 55% from the field and averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds as well as winning California Collegiate Athletic Association honours as a senior.
After touring Germany in 2017, he went on to be drafted fourth overall in the inaugural North American Pro Basketball draft (now The Basketball League) by the Nevada Desert Dogs. His second professional season was spent with the Windsor Express, appearing in eleven games - starting in five - and averaging 4.5 points and 2.6 rebounds.
