NBLC Recap: February 20th
It was the third meeting in a row between the St. John's Edge and the Windsor Express, who were not about to suffer the same fate as they did the last two times, especially not on their home court.
Windsor opened the game with a nine-point run and finished the first quarter with a ten-point lead. The Edge were led by Russell Byrd, who had 25 points off the bench in his debut for the team, while Desmond Lee went on to finish with 23 as they tried to get themselves back into the game shooting from the field.
Windsor's rampant offence - which saw them put up 73 points in the second half - and dominating the defensive glass kept them in control of proceedings. Four of their starters went over the twenty-point mark, with Horace Wormely leading all with 27 points as well as 14 total rebounds, as the Express snap their losing streak against the Edge, taking them down by 123 to 116.
