Plenty of action and excitement was seen in the NBL Canada on Friday - and there was only one game:

The London Lightning got off to the best start, leading by nine in the first quarter on their visit to Sydney and the Centre 200. Behind big third quarter efforts from George Williams and Olu Famutimi, the Cape Breton Highlanders took the lead, followed by a closely-fought final period.

London started on the back foot, but caught up to the Highlanders down the stretch and with twenty seconds to go Mo Bolden gave them a two-point lead. Tanner Giddings immediately responded, tying the scores, and on the final play of the game Marcus Capers found Garrett Williamson in the paint, who layed it up and in to give the Lightning the two-point win.

Cape Breton saw 23 points and 13 rebounds from Bruce Massey, while the Lightning were led by 21 points from Capers, one of five players to score in double digits, another being Mo Bolden with 17 (as well as 10 points) and a total 38 points from the bench. The win here sees the Lightning move off the foot of the Central Division.
