2xNBLC Champion

Now in his sixth season with the London Lightning, Maurice "Mo" Bolden has seen the team victorious numerous times and has become one of the biggest offensive players in all of the NBL Canada.

After a year with the Marion Military Tigers - where he led the team in double-doubles and was named to the All-Alabama Community College Conference first team - he went on to play 100 games in three seasons for the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles. He finished his Golden Eagles tenure having averaged 8.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

After splitting his first professional season with Ydra in Cyprus and Kotwica Kolobrzeg in Poland, he made the move to the NBL Canada in 2013. He played 39 games and started in 15 in his first season with the London Lightning, but made only five appearances the following year.

The next season he joined the Windsor Express, where he saw his role and playing time increase. He finished the season on 10.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, helping the team reach the division finals.

In 2016, he entered the NBA D-League Draft and was chosen eighteenth overall by the Austin Spurs. After playing one season with the Spurs, averaging 3.3 points and 2.2 rebounds across 26 games, he returned to London to finish off the season - in doing so he captured his first NBL Canada championship.

Staying with London for the following season, he earned a starting role and went on to average 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 43 games. He capped off his success in the season by winning his and London's second consecutive championship.

Bolden's results make him one of the Lightning's biggest success stories, and his devotion to the team and continued increase in form has made him one of their biggest stars.
