Know Your Team: Greg Morrow
KW Titans
6’3
Forward
From London, Ontario
NBLC Draft: 2016
A part of the KW Titans since the team's inception, Greg Morrow has been an integral part of each team he has taken to the court for in his still-young career.
Morrow played five years for the Western Mustangs in London, where his father Al had previously served as a rowing coach. In all that time he was a key player for the Mustangs, regularly posting double-digit statistics throughout his time with the team.
Named to the Ontario University Athletics second team in his third year, and the first team in the fourth, he ended his half-decade with the Mustangs averaging 15.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game on 52% field shooting. In 2015, he was also the recipient of the team's JP Metras Trophy, awarded to the most valuable player.
In 2016, after being cut from the Raptors 905, Morrow entered the NBL Canada draft, where he was taken first overall by the KW Titans, the first-ever draft pick of the team. After seeing largely rotation time in his debut season, he went on to near-double his end-of-season averages at the end of his second, with 8.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in 2017-18.
Almost immediately, Morrow has established himself as a big role player for the Titans, and has the talent and determination to see his role - and his playing time - increase as his tenure with the team goes on.
