Just the one game on Friday night in the NBL Canada, but one with a lot at stake for both teams.
The Cape Breton Highlanders saw the best results from their bench – a team-high 16 points from Jabari Craig and 14 points and 10 rebounds from Jamal Reynolds – but despite going in front early after seven unanswered points, the Moncton Magic were in control the rest of the time.
The more dominant side from close-range, the Magic built their advantage more and more as the game went on. Nick Evans was the standout in this game, grabbing 11 rebounds to go with a game-high 25 points, closely followed by Jahii Carson with 22, as Moncton keep their unbeaten run alive with a 102-89 win over Cape Breton.
